Random Thought of the Day

Why is that whenever a politician does something corrupt or dishonest, the fallback excuse is to point to the exact same bad behavior in the other party? For example, when the Republican majority passes a bloated budget that will add over a trillion dollars annually to the deficit, they point to Obama doubling the national debt during his time in office. Or if a Democrat’s friend is enriched by some kickback government deal, the Dems point to a Republican doing the same thing. Bad behavior doesn’t become OK or excusable just because the opposition party did the same thing. It’s simply evidence that both major parties suck!
