Gary Johnson, the Libertarian presidential candidate in 2016, climbed Mt. Everest (literally) and completed three full Ironman triathalons. He had a successful career as a teacher, handyman, business owner, and governor before running for president. He has a long list of accomplishments and sensible positions on issues that I’m guessing 70 percent of Americans would support. But how much of all this did you hear from the mainstream media? I’m guessing they devoted a thousand times more coverage to one Alleppo interview gaffe than to his bio and all his accomplishments. It’s probably the main reason we always end up with only two candidates to vote on with any real chance to win.
