Random Thought of the Day
I remember from history classes in college the difference between primary and secondary research sources. Primary sources are original speeches, writings, art, video recordings, etc. created at the time of the historical event. Secondary sources are interpretations of the primary sources. When you base your conclusions on primary sources, there’s no filter. You do your own reasoning without anyone else’s biases getting in the way. Research based on secondary sources relies on someone else to organize and reason for you. Think about all you know in life. Do you realize how much of what you know, or think you know, is based on what someone else has told you? Given the rampant corruption & bias in the media, Hollywood, and the educational system, do you see why this is such a big problem?
