Random Thought of the Day
I’ve noticed EVERY time the media mentions Trump’s tariffs, they discuss the costs to American businesses and consumers. And it’s a fair point to bring up, as tariffs are added costs to businesses. However, consider virtually every liberal proposal in regards to business: corporate income tax increases, paid family leave, increases in minimum wages, increased taxes on inputs like oil, increased regulations & compliance costs, Obamacare, and on and on. All these proposals add additional costs to business operation which must be accounted for some other way, such as lower wages, higher consumer prices, less profits, less research & development, etc; can you think of ONE SINGLE TIME the mainstream media has mentioned the downsides to these liberal proposals?
