There’s Some Hope
This was posted on Facebook by my very liberal friend, Kim. Even liberals are starting to see the danger of the insane censorship going on in Big Tech:
Censorship, the changing or the suppression or prohibition of speech or writing that is deemed offensive or subversive of the common good, when people succeed in imposing their personal political or moral values on others.
The dangers of censorship include the missed opportunity for critical thinking and to learn from the past, and the suppression of ideas that challenge the status quo. Censorship is a threat to democracy, it is NOT A PARTY OR POLITICAL ISSUE, REGARDLESS OF THE IDEAS BEING SUPPRESSED.
I have been shocked recently to discover that if one thinks independently on one issue the immediate assumption is that they belong in one category or political party despite the fact that most of not all of their other views do not align. For the record, I am not, nor have I ever been, nor will I ever be, a Trump supporter. If you are, you confuse and sadden me, but I will forever support your right to your beliefs. I also support your right to express ideas and present information even if, and sometimes especially if, they do not go along with the mainstream narrative.
That being said, I am posting a link to the Plandemic movie, which will immediately be labeled “false information”. I believe in your ability to research and judge for yourself, rather than having Facebook do it for you. “Fear shuts down the part of our brain designed to solve problems “.
I believe in freedom, choice, human rights, open-mindedness and kindness, not divisiveness, polarization, judgment and shaming. If you disagree, keep scrolling.
