The founders also risked their, and their families’ lives! Today we have so called patriots, who allegedly swore an oath to protect the country from domestic enemies. Since we know beyond a reasonable doubt who the enemies are, we have proof that the so called patriots were never serious about their oath.
The people taking the oaths ARE the domestic enemies.
The earth was to uphold the constitution, as in “protect the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic”.
If a single law or policy exist contrary to the constitution, as written with the original intent, as explained clearly by the founding fathers, and the senator or congressman, does not initiate legislation to eliminate that law or the courts to strike it down they violated their oath, same if they proposed legislation, that cannot be shown to be explicitly authorized by the constitution
