Liberals: “Exxon, Chevron, United Health, and Walmart are all eeeeeeeevil American companies with way too much size and power! And they buy back stock rather than pay more money to the government in taxes!!!!”
Just thought I’d remind you these four companies, so often the target of ranting communist Democrats, have a COMBINED market cap less than each of the top 3 Big Tech companies, Apple, Microsoft, and Google. In fact, Apple by itself is nearing a market cap of twice all four companies combined. The impact & control of these Big Tech companies are all 1000 times more than the liberal whipping boys. Plus, despite massively taking in more cash flow and profits, Big Tech companies pay far smaller rates by using R&D tax credits, offshoring of profits, and other tricks. And don’t even get me started on the amount of their stock buybacks. Strangely, Biden & Co always seem to blunt any criticism of the Big Tech behemoths. Gee, I wonder why? 🤔
