Threads “Success” Is a Media-Created Illusion

In a related story, Twitter recently put in some daily limits on tweet reading that few humans on Earth will ever reach. It was designed to prevent manipulation by programmed bots scanning user data and such. CNBC and other mainstream media outlets, of course, made it sound like a major catastrophe, like millions of users were up-in-arms even though there were only a few thousand down detector complaints out of 350+ million accounts. I’m still waiting for the first CNBC report of Zuckerberg’s Threads doing the same kind of thing.
