  1. On the subject of “representation” – when the country was founded, there was 1 US House member for every 30,000 counted citizens. Given the under 21, women, and slaves who could not vote, that meant as few as 5000 voters per representative in some districts. Now there are 750,000 to 1,000,000 counted ‘citizens’ per “representative” and thanks to the Apportionment Act of 1910, the number of US House members has NOT increased since then. We are MASSIVELY underrepresented versus when this country was founded, while our population has gone up by 30,000%, government spending is up way more than that, we now have an 8ncome tax, and government power and abuse are off the charts. We are simply far too large a nation to be fairly represented. We are the second least represented nation on earth per capita behind India’s 1.3 billion people. They have us fighting over how the 435 seats will be carved up instead of discussing how the nation should be broken up, or why we don’t have 25,000 representatives in the House instead.
