The DC Swamp Exposed

message dc swamp didnt get drained low enough see hideous creatures

One thing I noticed in my early years of covering politics is the two major parties always seemed to stick together within their ranks. Sure, there were policy differences and intense primary battles, but in the end, Republicans supported Republicans, and Democrats supported Democrats. Even Reagan famously had an 11th commandment, “Thou shall not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” That all changed in 2016. Trump exposed the corrupt, unprincipled uniparty scum that lurked beneath. It became obvious to me that nearly all of this segment are either bribed, blackmailed, or both. How do we know? Establishment politicians of both parties have thrown away nearly every principle for which they supposedly fought, the very principles they emphasized to get elected.

The Democrats used to be intensely free speech and anti-war. Through the 80s, they were the biggest defenders of Russia. And the majority of Trump policies–for example, child tax credit increase, cleaning up the CIA/FBI/DOJ/Pharma, etc.–would probably be wholeheartedly embraced if not attached to him. On the Republican side, cutting taxes & spending, streamlining government bureaucracy, protecting the border, etc. are usually central to their campaigns. But now that Trump and his people are in position to actually do some of the things they promised for decades, they’re actively resisting.

I mentioned in my article on the importance of voting as just one battle in a war against totalitarianism. We won a big battle by electing Trump and taking control of Congress away from Democrats. The fight goes on, though. You can be sure the Swamp will strike back, and you’re seeing it already, as Establishment Republicans already seem to be forming an alliance with Democrats. The next “most important election of our lives” might just be in early 2026, when we have an opportunity to primary out the rest of these corrupt scumbags. Until then, it’s time to put on more pressure than they’ve ever seen.
