Let’s remember, this wasn’t just a “deserter” that Obama traded for 5 top Taliban. Bergdahl was a pure traitor who hated the American military and voluntarily surrendered himself to the terrorists. While he gave top secret intelligence to our enemies, six soldiers died trying to get him back, after which the Obama administration negotiated his release and bragged about it afterwards. You have to wonder sometimes about Obama & Biden — are they just incompetent and puppets of the New World Order Ruling Class, or are they part of anti-American sleeper cells with a mission to destroy the country, or both?
In a recent blog I mentioned how the media manipulates numbers by using a smaller base for stats, as they have for Covid percentage increases. The same technique was used to give Obama credit for economic “growth” after the Housing Crisis, and the same technique will be used to give Biden credit for economic “growth” after Covid. To illustrate, assume a GDP of $10 trillion in Year 1. A recession in Year 2 drops the GDP to $8 trillion. In Year 3, the economy recovers to $9 trillion. This is listed as a 12.5% “growth” in Year 3 ($1 Trillion/$8 Trillion) because you’re starting with a smaller base number ($8 Trillion), yet on the whole, the economy still hasn’t actually recovered to where it was in Year 1. Because of Covid, forced lockdowns of businesses across the U.S. led to a huge decrease in GDP and jobs. So now just by allowing businesses to re-open, we have “growth.” Joe Biden – our job-creating hero! 🙄
When Obama was elected in 2008, everything that went wrong during his 8 years in office, according to he and the media, was caused by Bush and “inherited” problems, while anything good was the result of Obama’s policies. When Trump was elected, the media turned to the only standards they have–double standards–and blamed anything bad on Trump, while anything good was a delayed effect from Obama. Now, we’re about to revert back to “Everything bad is Trump’s fault and everything good is because of Biden.” That argument may fly for a little while but not very long when you consider the election results and current state of the economy.
If you’re looking for a silver lining in democrats winning control of the House, Senate, and Presidency, it’s this–they now own all upcoming results. The last time the democrats had full control was 2009, and their unpopular policies, which they managed to hide during the 2008 election, were exposed, leading to the largest red wave in decades in 2010. A similar red wave occurred in 1994 after two years of Bill Clinton policies were exposed. As in 1992 and 2008, the media sheltered the 2020 democrat presidential candidate and hid the most unpopular policies from the voters.
Barack Obama won re-election largely because he had the luckiest election timing of any president since FDR in 1932. The stock market had fallen 50% due to the housing/credit crisis panic. GDP had plummeted as part of a deep recession. So when the economy simply recovered back to what it was pre-panic, it could be spun as “growth.” Obama was also a benefactor of the 2010s tech revolution that included smart phones, the mainstreaming of Google, and new high-speed internet technologies.
Joe Biden isn’t going to have these advantages. The stock market is at all-time highs. GDP and unemployment are near their best levels ever, even with the Covid impact. If the economy nosedives now, you can bet Biden is going to get the blame. The media and incoming administration will no doubt milk Covid as long as they can, but if they continue to push lockdowns, mask mandates, forced vaccines, and other fascist removal of civil liberties, the backlash will be severe. Keep in mind that Obama was loved by the democratic base, especially the mainstream media. He was ALWAYS given the benefit of the doubt. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, however, are probably the two most unpopular democrats to ever take over the American presidency. The Deep State put all their eggs in the hate-Trump basket. It’s now put-up-or-shut-up time, and the American public won’t be so forgiving of such unpopular candidates in an evenly divided country.
