Another day, another example of liberal anti-free speech fascism. This time, liberal groups pumped up their web persona armies to go after the Twitter CEO, who simply sent a tweet that included a Chick-fil-a purchase, forcing him to apologize for eating there. Let’s rewind a bit. Liberals hate Chick-fil-a because in 2012 the COO spoke of opposing same-sex marriage. Mind you, this was his personal opinion and had nothing to do with Chick-fil-a corporate discrimination or policies. At the time of the big controversy, Chick-fil-a apologized, withdrew political funding of any groups that oppose gay marriage, and basically stayed out of political debates since then. It doesn’t matter, liberals are so opposed to the restaurant chain, a mere picture of someone eating there causes a backlash. Of course, it’s unlikely a real backlash. It’s almost definitely an engineered one originated by Media Matters or some other George Soros-funded group. It doesn’t matter though since it had its intended effect of forcing the Twitter CEO to apologize. This kind of free-speech suppression and ideology control are about as anti-American as it gets. It has to stop if we’re to survive as a democracy.
