Over the last year I’ve read or heard the term “far right” about 1000 times in political stories. Can you think of ONE time the term “far left” was used in the mainstream media? Could it be because they’re at the far liberal left and view themselves as the noble, balanced middle? Often, the term “far right” is applied to a group solely because they show patriotism and love for their own country. Communist Active Measures have scored perhaps their biggest victory against the West in the Cold War by turning all the major influencers (mainstream media, educational system, and movie/TV industry) into anti-American socialists.

With all the influences a person has in his or her life (relatives, friends, education, experiences, TV, books, etc.), it’s unlikely that person would develop 100% liberal or 100% conservative views on all controversial issues. If you or someone you know leans left or leans right on every issue, you’re almost definitely getting only one side of the story. In other words, if you only get your news from Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and Hannity, you’re likely not getting the liberal point of view. If you get your news only from CNN, MSNBC, and the Huffington Post, you’re likely not getting the conservative point of view. Force yourself to seek out a regular source of information alternative to your usual point of view.
