I’m not sure how this one got past RFK, but he and the Twitter army need to get on squashing this nominee. I’m wondering if this was some horse-trading pick with pharma-owned senators to get other Trump nominees approved. In any case, she has to go. I will completely abandon all Trump support if we ever get another facist medical regime.

Dangerous Ground

I like Musk, Vivek, and RFK. And I applaud their desires to make America healthier and cut out waste in government, but we have to be VERY careful to ensure the solution doesn’t make the problem worse, as happens in 99.9 percent of government fix operations. For example, do you remember how the Department of Homeland Security came about? It was sold as a response to the 9/11 intelligence failures and interagency communication clusterf*cks. Now, it’s a bloated behemoth with 22, yes 22, government security agencies under it’s jurisdiction. I’m guessing few Americans know we really have that many agencies working in security.

And how have those trillions spent worked out for us? Is the border secure? Is crime decreasing? Have we reduced the number of terrorists around the world who hate us? I have no doubt we have plenty of good, patriotic Americans working within these agencies, but when you have corrupt, incompetent politicians in charge, you get nothing but waste and a failure of intended missions. Even when you start out with truly benevolent leaders, when it comes to government, at some point you will have corrupt, incompetent, unprincipled political loyalists in charge. Exhibit A: Alejandro Mayorkas.

Consider some of RFK’s desires. I too would love to get trans fat and high fructose corn syrup out of our food. I’d love for restaurants to phase out all seed oils. But how are you going to monitor and enforce this? A new government agency or expansion of an existing one? New inspectors and regulatory requirements? What’s going to happen to farmer’s markets and other small food providers who don’t have a staff of lawyers to handle a new layer of bureaucracy? And if you give government officials the power to set these rules, what happens in the next regime? Climate crazies banning beef in the interest of public health? Bans on natural health products and homeopathic medicines? Purchase limits on beer, soda, meat, etc.?

The best the new Trump administration can do is to nuke most of these agencies and put in self-destruct mechanisms to go off when Trump is out of office. (Note to the Feds monitoring this blog: nuke & self-destruct are metaphors 😱)

Message on Website

Daily posts will cease on this site at the end of the month. However, I do plan to continue with daily humor posts on my new site, EducationDojo.com. Just switch your bookmark to the new daily posts page if you want your regular fix of memes. I plan to take a long break from politics, so don’t expect to see much of that on the new site for a while. EducationDojo.com is bare bones right now, but it will eventually be packed with free classes, quizzes, and games with no subscription or ads ever. PoliticallyIncorrectHumor.com will stay online indefinitely, although without much new content after 11/30. More details to come.

Selfish Libertarians

worst charities america soliciting costs cash aid recipients

Every once in a while I see graphics like the one above. I’m not sure how accurate they are or what to believe, but there’s no doubt a certain percentage of money you give to charity must be used for overhead and donation solicitation. It’s frustrating to see such small amounts go to the intended recipients. Consider the percentages can be so low even with nonprofits made up of staff who have nothing but noble motives. At least donations are voluntary, and the charities usually have some controls in place to avoid recipient abuse and fraud. Now consider what liberals believe is the greatest “charity” of all — government. Health care, universal income, food stamps, college, electric vehicles— there is no limit to what leftists believe government can provide. Siphoning off money from the productive workers & investors is necessary to provide these “free” benefits. You’re heartless and selfish if you think otherwise! 🙄

What percentage of this stolen tax money actually reaches recipients in need? Even in the impossible scenario of maximum efficiency, do you think politicians all have noble motives? Do you think there is any corruption, campaign contributor kickbacks, or fraud? Do you think there’s a segment of the population who abuses this welfare system? I think we all know the answers.

Almost all Americans want to help those in need. The biggest impediment is actually having the money to do so. Just imagine if we had all the cash we flush annually in federal, state, local, property, sales, and other taxes. But in addition to getting all that money back from the leeches, what if we could cut out the expensive, incredibly inefficient middle man. We could give directly to those really in need. Does that sound selfish to you?

Random Thoughts the Day

* It’s always entertaining to watch a Republican-Democrat “debate” on any mainstream media station. Inevitably it’s between a true believer Democrat and a weaked-kneed, Trump-hating RINO like Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, or Bill Cassidy. The RINO is there to provide the illusion of balanced reporting while he/she gives mainly the same answers as the Dem in rephrased ways with some kind of apology like “I hope the sane members of our party will stand up to the extremist right-wing.” And if they need an “expert” Republican for commentary on any political/economic topic, you can bet it’s someone like Anthony Scaramucci or Peter Bolton, who at one time worked for Trump before back-stabbing him, punctated with an explanation on how Trump has gone crazy on so-and-so issue. See! See! See!–even former Trump supporters now oppose him!!! 🙄 Trump got almost 75 million votes and still has thousands of allies in politics and business, but don’t expect to hear from any of them during the “balanced” MSM debates.

* Leftists love to say, “If you haven’t done anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about” when it comes to privacy issues and probes into a person’s finances. However, you’re seeing examples every day why this just isn’t true. Government has been weaponized in a way never seen in American history. The IRS, NSA, CIA, FBI, and federal & state court systems are being used to target any enemies of the Ruling Class. Even if you’re eventually proven innocent or the penalties overturned by the Supreme Court, they can still bleed you dry in legal fees, destroy your business, and deprive you of your freedom & reputation.

* Cryptocurrencies are once again being bid up to astronomical levels, but be careful! Althought I love the idea of a limited currency not controlled by government, any kind of money is only as good as the confidence in it. Search the web for “tulip mania” for a good example from history how anything can be bid up as a valuable currency, but can come crashing down the minute confidence erodes. Crypto is especially vulnerable since so few people understand the inner workings. I have degrees in Finance and Computer Science, yet much of it makes little sense to me, so imagine what the typical retail investor will do if any panic selling sets in. All it would take is a few comments from someone like Jim Cramer to start the “Dump” phase of the Pump-and-Dump pattern. Now that Blackrock has the biggest crypto ETF, I’m extra skeptical. And yes, I realize the U.S. Dollar isn’t exactly inspiring as a currency either.

mirror not pump and dump wall steet jim cramer want whats best for you

* Google is rightfully being mocked & condemned for their Gemini AI debacle, but it’s insignicant compared to the overwhelming bias in their search engine. Search ANY news story. The first listings are usually NY Times, MSNBC, CNN, and other far-left media sources. If Fox News, Breitbart, Townhall, or other right-leaning links are ever listed, expect them to be buried pages down where 99.9% of users have stopped searching. If you want information on so-called conspiracy theories or anything that hurts their favorite politicians, expect the top links to be liberally-funded “fact” checkers and other stories to counter whatever you’re trying to learn. And if it’s a video or other irrefutable evidence such as Fauci interviews on Covid-masks and gain-of-function research, expect it to be buried. When they’re caught on this bias, they’re quick to blame the “algorithm.” 👌 BTW, Big Tech is well aware of memes showing their tech biases, so they work quickly to correct specific ones that expose them, which just reinforces they control more than they let on.

Google’s ‘echo chamber’ workplace clouding its impartiality: former employee

* Government shouldn’t be involved in our personal lives for more reasons than we can count, but one that should be obvious is the conflict of interests. Pharma companies, defense contractors, EV makers, and endless other donors & lobbyists create an atmosphere were politicians are sold to the highest bidder, regardless of how it affects the average citizen. Thus, you end up with failed companies like Solyndra, useless Covid mandates, pointless wars, and other disasters. Plus, the politicians and the “experts” they bring in to make decisons will always have different values. For example, when have you EVER heard a politician consider quality of life in their mandates? They made our lives miserable for two years, especially school kids and essential workers, without ONE SINGLE politician mentioning quality of life as even a factor in their decision-making process. Well-intentioned government officials are usually incompetent. That’s best case scenario. Clearly though, it’s so much worse when you consider truly evil, corrupt leaders, like the ones we have now
